Aws cloud introduction part-01

What is cloud :-

In simple words Cloud Computing enable on-demand services like compute, storage, networking, etc which can be accessed through the internet and the user is not required to manage these resources.

Advantages of Cloud :-

·   Low Cost: To run cloud technology, users don't require high power computers and technology because the application will run on the cloud and not on users' PC.

·   Storage capacity: The Cloud storage capacity is unlimited & generally offers a vast storage capacity of 2000-3000 GBs or more based on the requirement.

·   Low cost of IT infrastructure: As discussed earlier, the investment will be less if an organization uses Cloud technology; even the IT staffs and server engineers are also not required.

·   Scalable: Cloud servers have a very high-capacity for running and processing tasks and the processing of applications.

·   Reduce Software Costs: Cloud minimizes the software costs as users don't need to purchase software for organizations or every computer.

·   Updating: Instant software update is possible & users don't have to face the choice problem between obsolete & high-upgrade software.

2. How many types of cloud deployment models for use Cloud services.

a) Public :-
  • Public Cloud provides a shared platform that is accessible to the general public through an Internet connection.
  •      Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Microsoft Azure, IBM's Blue Cloud, Sun Cloud, and Google Cloud are examples of the public cloud.

b) Private :-

·       Private cloud is also known as an internal cloud or corporate cloud. It is used by organizations to build and manage their own data centers internally or by the third party. It can be deployed using Opensource tools such as Openstack and Eucalyptus.

  •  Private cloud provides a high level of security and privacy to the users.
  • The organization has full control over the cloud because it is managed by the organization itself. So, there is no need for the organization to depends on anybody.

c) Hybrid :-

  •        Hybrid Cloud is a combination of the public cloud and the private cloud.
  •        Hybrid cloud is partially secure because the services which are running on the public cloud can be accessed by anyone, while the services which are running on a private cloud can be accessed only by the organization's users.

d) Community :-

  •       Community Cloud allows system and services to be accessible by group of organizations.
  •        It shares the infrastructure between several organizations from a specific community.
  •        It may be managed internally by organizations or by the third-party.

3.There are three main services models for cloud computing provide.

1.Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) :- Managed by you from OS to applications like ec2.

2.Platform as a Service (PaaS) :- Managed by you from Runtime (data) to applications.

3.Software as a Service (SaaS) :- gmail, facebook Customer relationship management (CRM) applications and enterprise resource management (ERM).
